After a long career in communications and fundraising for nonprofit organizations, I finished up in public television. There I created, produced, and hosted award winning programming while (successfully) chasing those Nielsens,  and surviving every pledge drive with my sense of humor intact.

Turns out, it was pretty good training for the creator economy.

I know how to capture attention, tell a story quickly, deliver a message without sounding scripted, and make an audience feel like they're part of the conversation. I also have camera and editing skills.

I create from my home in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, where we are still picking up the pieces from Hurricane Helene. Hard to believe, I know.
